Hello, internet. Welcome to my Starting Over fan blog. In it I plan to post summaries of episodes for those of you who may have had to endure the pain of missing a show, as well as adding my own "colorful" commentaries to the precedings.

Don't be fooled by that spoof of the intro up there. I'm a fan. Although I don't love everything that happens or every Starting Over house member, I dig it. Doesn't mean I won't have a little fun here at their expense.

A couple of characteristics separate me from the typical Starting Over fan. For one, I'm a dude. A straight one at that. I don't like soap operas at all; I serously doubt I've ever watched one all the way through. I understand that's part of the SO formula [that's even how they're promoting it this year, "TV Guide calls it the best soap you're not watching"]. I'm more interested in the psychological b.s. and the interaction between the chicks.

I'll be late with my first few posts-- I'm behind in my real blog. I'll catch up and should be more punctual next week.
